Terms of use
The deal between you and Spirit Birds, in plain words.
Who can join
You need to be 18 or older, and you show up as yourself: your photos, your name, your age.
What you post
You own your words and photos. You let us show them in the app so people can find you. Delete them anytime.
How we treat each other
Follow our Community guidelines. We remove content and close accounts that break them, with no tolerance for abuse.
Supporting membership
Voluntary. Billed by the App Store or Google Play, renews until you cancel there, and nothing essential sits behind it.
Leaving
Delete your account from Settings whenever you like.
Community guidelines
How we look after each other in the flock.
Be yourself
Real photos of you, your own name, your real age. You must be 18 or older.
Be kind
No harassment, hate, threats or shaming. Disagree gently.
Consent comes first
Online and offline. No unwanted sexual messages or photos, and no means no.
Keep it free
No selling, spam, scams or recruiting for paid sessions.
Look out for each other
If something feels wrong, report it. We review every report within 24 hours.
If you or someone else is in danger, call 112.
Safety tips
Meeting someone from Spirit Birds for the first time.
Meet in public
Choose a café, a park or one of the flock’s events the first time.
Tell a friend
Share who you’re meeting, where and when.
Your own way home
Plan how you get there and back, so you can leave whenever you like.
Trust your gut
You can leave at any point. You don’t owe anyone an explanation.
Report what feels wrong
From their profile, the chat or the event, two taps away.
If you or someone else is in danger, call 112.
Delete your account
We’re sorry to see you go. Here’s exactly what happens.
What we delete
- Your profile, photos and voice notes
- Your opening line, prompts, practices and chart
- Chats, reactions and voice messages
- Likes, matches and connections
- Event RSVPs and activities you host
What we keep
Reports you made, or that were made about you, so we can keep the community safe. We keep them only as long as the law requires.
Your supporting membership
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel it. Cancel it in your store settings first.
No app any more? Write to privacy@spiritbirds.social from the email address you use for Spirit Birds. We’ll send a code to that address to make sure it’s you, then delete your account.
