When you visit. Our host, Vercel Inc. (USA), delivers these pages. To do that and to keep the site secure, its servers log your IP address, the time, the page you asked for and your browser’s details, and keep that log for about a day. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel works for us under a data processing agreement; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

No cookies, no tracking. This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. Our fonts and images come from our own server.

When you email us. If you write to support@, privacy@ or waitlist@spiritbirds.social, we use your address and your message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) or, for the waitlist, to email you once when Spirit Birds opens (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; withdraw it anytime by writing to us). We delete waitlist emails after that email, and at the latest 12 months after you wrote. For now, mail to these addresses is forwarded by our domain registrar, Namecheap, Inc. (USA), to our mailbox at Google (Gmail).

Your rights. You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, or a copy of it, and you can object to uses based on our legitimate interest. You can complain to a data protection authority; ours is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
